How you can support us

This action isn’t just about the dry technicalities of regulation. It’s about whether we will have a food system that serves people and the planet, or one that prioritises corporate convenience. It’s about the kind of future we want for our food, our farms and our families.

As such, our fight is everybody’s fight and we all have a role to play in holding the government to account.

You can help us by

Donating to our fighting fund. Legal actions are expensive. We need to raise at least £85,000 to cover all the costs of this judicial review judicial review into the government’s failure to consider all the implications of this irrational change in law.

We may need significantly more – circa £100,000 – to cover legal costs and liabilities over the whole of the action. But if we don’t reach our first funding goal, we are unlikely to be able to continue.

We are grateful for every donation that brings us closer to our goal of a transparent, trustworthy and democratic approach to regulating GMOs in food, farming and the wider environment.

Help spread the word. Let your friends, family members, neighbours and colleagues know about this legal action and encourage them to support us. The more supporters we have the harder it is for government to ignore what we are saying. Every voice – and every penny – counts now.

Join our mailing list. We won’t bombard you with unnecessary emails. We will keep you up to date with crucial updates about the action and, as the process progresses, suggest more ideas for how you can help.

Sign the petition. Many of you have already signed the joint Beyond GM / GM
Freeze petition to ensure labelling of all GMOs. If you have not signed it now is the time to show support and help build momentum. We intend to use the petition as evidence in the case so please actively and urgently reach out to friends and family and get them to sign.
